How to use World War I in a sentence?
We’re living in the most dangerous period of history in our nation, it wasn’t the Civil or Revolutionary Wars or World War I or II that were the most dangerous — that time is now. We’re fighting the war within, the moral war. If Christians don’t stand up now we’re going to lose — and we’re going to lose big.

Whether it was the Civil War, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, an assassination decade of the '60s, or 9/11, we always had hope and we had presidents who inspired us, americans do not cower, whether it's the Nazis or the terrorists or the China virus. Since World War I, there has been an international convention on this and to stand idly by when the convention is violated -- that is what we had to take action on recently in our own vital interest.
World War I was a benchmark, which is particularly relevant because it was followed by the 1918 flu pandemic.
