How to use DONATE in a sentence?
All that was going through my head is,' What if Susan Ellis can donate Susan Ellis kidneys to each other's husbands ?' I could have never imagined it.
He said that he was going to donate his check to a fund for local people in the restaurant industry, such as waitresses and waiters who have lost their jobs. I thought that was so inspiring, considering that this client is a regular guy who could use the money.
Both my kids offered to donate kidneys to me, and I told them both the same thing : ‘ I’ve had a good life and I don’t want to take a kidney from young people who really need them and still have their whole lives ahead of them.' That would be very selfish on my part.
Unfortunately, rare cases like this tend to draw a negative light to all charities and make people a bit more withdrawn to donate. But fortunately there are a lot of watchdog groups out there.
It had to come from my heart, I don’t want anyone to think someone told me to do it … I will donate and do everything in my power to help them.
