How to use MVP in a sentence?
I was Top 10 MVP (voting) last year and I’ve been a great player for this organization for last three years, i’m not going down. I want to play. Obviously, I know it's going to be tougher with Rizzo, but I deserve to play just as much as he does.
MVP is not about stats and numbers, and obviously James Harden had unbelievable numbers and Paul George also, but obviously its about winning, we created great habits throughout the season and were able to stick by them, and thats why we were able to have a chance in every single game we played and were able to win 60 games.
I want to thank my dad. Obviously, you know, he's not here with me. Two years ago, I had the goal in my head that I'm going to be the best player in the league and I'm going to do whatever it takes to help my team win and I'm going to win the MVP, everyday that I step on the floor, I always think about my dad and that motivates me, that pushes me to play harder and move forward.
Hes a Finals MVP, hes doing what hes supposed to do. Thats what they pay the man for, to come down here and be Kawhi Leonard.
Life is definitely different than it was three or four years ago, winning a championship and MVP and all that kind of stuff, the world was a lot smaller. But you know, my priorities are obviously( to) take care of my family. ... I'm only going to be playing for so long. And I just want to be able to enjoy every single moment and involve them. So it's not a difficult balance in that. Because I enjoy that part of my life so much. But you've just got to kind of learn how to navigate the new situations.
