It was like I have seen the Chernobyl mini-series and everything was just blanketed in ash, it was quite an overwhelming feeling, you know ? There was a helicopter on the island that had obviously been there at the time, with its rotor blades off it.
The real concern is not a catastrophic explosion as happened at Chernobyl but damage to the cooling system which is required even when the reactor is shut down, it was this type of damage that led to the Fukushima accident.

My wish that our therapy was available five years ago when we had the Fukushima disaster or 30 years ago when we had the Chernobyl not mentioning the Second World War which was a significant exposure to radiation.
