How to use convicted in a sentence?
There's an exponentially higher number of people who are wrongfully sentenced than wrongfully convicted.
It does not make sense for us, as a society, to be putting people convicted of terrorist offences, serious violent offences, out on early release.
It's difficult for anybody to get a job these days, but they face particular problems, many of them have been away for a long time. They don't have that employment history. They have to indicate if they've ever been convicted of a crime.
