Anthony Prate told the police that Anthony Prate wife had unbuckled Bridget Prate seat belt to look for Bridget Prate purse and a water bottle just seconds before Anthony Prate lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the center line, and hit an oncoming car and a tree before coming to a stop. When paramedics arrived, three bystanders had surrounded the car while Anthony Prate attempted to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to Anthony Prate wife. Bridget Prate didnt have a pulse and Bridget Prate wasnt breathing. One of the bystanders said Anthony Prate, who had suffered only minor injuries, looked frantic and shocked.
