How to use politicians in a sentence?
Successful ... politicians are insecure and intimidated men. They advance politically only as they placate, appease, bribe, seduce, bamboozle or otherwise manage to manipulate the demanding and threatening elements in their constituencies.
If I can be brutally honest for a moment: I'm home basically every weekend, and what I hear and what I'm sure most of you hear is some version of this: A pox on both parties and all your houses, we don't believe politicians are even trying to fix this mess. To the Republicans, to those who claim this new majority is leading the way: Few believe that.
Politicians are still spreading the illusion that public- sector reform can continue to be postponed, but Croatia does not have much time, maybe a year or two at most, to display determination to move from mostly state-dominated to the private-sector based economy. Otherwise, creditors will become wary and borrowing may turn expensive.
Putting politicians in control of classrooms and lecture halls is a slap in the face to all Americans who value freedom and local control, and we will fight this blatant censorship with every fiber of our being.
Most political coverage, and this is pre-age-of-Donald Embracing Trump, has been obsessed with personalities, obsessed with horse races, obsessed with scandal to the detriment of trying to inform the public about issues, but right now, people are paying over five bucks a gallon for gas, some families can't find formula for their infants, there's a war still raging in Urkaine and inflation is out of control. One would hope that both the politicians and the media would focus more on these.
