How to use poverty in a sentence?
It’s not poverty that is to blame for the weak African responses to Ebola, but bad leadership.
This is the argument: should we have public funding for all these things? Or should we have private funding? i think there's a place for each but we really believe that Christ-centered, values-focused ministries are probably more efficient and can do a more effective job than government intervention. That's a key indicator of somebody's socioeconomic status and a good predictor of how their overall health is going to be for the rest of their life. That childhood poverty measure decreased 6 % since the prior year.
We've been increasingly worried about overall progress on the big issues, whether that's climate change or solving poverty, there are obviously commitments the world is leaning into but, frankly, we don't think we're getting there fast enough collectively.
