How to use Folk in a sentence?
The level of nudity that I do now, which is taking my shirt off, doesn’t bother me at all. But I have done full frontal before, i did full frontal when I was 18 on the TV show 'Queer as Folk.' But because I was playing a 15-year-old character, the censorship people wouldn’t allow us to put it on TV.
I know that part of being in the spotlight is that people might invade your privacy and have opinions on it, but it's bizarre that normal folk are allowed to display such hate and opinions on a part of my life that I'm not putting out there, it's a strange side of fame that you're allowed to be torn apart by thousands of people even though you didn't put that piece of you out there.
The only really happy folk are married women and single men.
When I really started liking music was when I could play some of it myself, and after a couple of years of playing folk music, I kinda rediscovered those hits that were on the radio all the time when I was a kid.
That's one of the things I like best about folk music is the beautiful melodies - and the harmonies - that exist in it. And of course, some of the stories, the story songs.
