Conflict is a general word which describes opponents, whether individuals or hosts, as dashed together. One continuous conflict between entire armies is a battle. Another battle may be fought upon the same field after a considerable interval; or a new battle may follow immediately, the armies meeting upon a new field. An action is brief and partial; a battle may last for days. Engagement is a somewhat formal expression for battle; as, it was the commander's purpose to avoid a general engagement. A protracted war, including many battles, may be a stubborn contest. Combat, originally a hostile encounter between individuals, is now used also for extensive engagements. A skirmish is between small detachments or scattered troops. An encounter may be either purposed or accidental, between individuals or armed forces. Fight is a word of less dignity than battle; we should not ordinarily speak of Waterloo as a fight, unless where the word is used in the sense of fighting; as, I was in the thick of the fight.

The brand which will suffer the most from Steve Harvey’s gaffe at the Miss Universe contest is Steve Harvey, what a terrible mistake. For Miss Columbia, one can only feel sympathy and feel bad for her. One can only imagine the pain and wide range of emotions she is feeling. I think the whole world feels bad for her, and I am sure there are many brands who are rooting for her.
It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, the escalating spread of the coronavirus throughout Europe and the restrictions put in place by many governments ... make it impossible for us to host a live event as planned.
I thought the host was Amy Schumer; I totally blew it. But since it's you, we're lowering our contest fee to $1, and I'll enter yours with a donation to the Yellow Ribbon Fund.
I mean, I'll spend several months out of the year just doing nothing but working on this painting for this contest, and most of the years, for most of the artists in the contest, you don't--if you don't win, you lose, and it gets hard to take that time and time and time again. Some people enter for 20, 30 years without ever even coming close. i never get sick of painting them. There will be times where I'm about halfway through and I'm kind of sick of that particular painting because I just want it to be done, especially when it's still, like, in, sort of, the ugly stage because my favorite part is just doing the final touches where it actually looks nice. So there's times where I don't really feel like finishing it. But other than that, no, I never get tired of doing it, and I always look forward to picking my nextpainting for the next year and trying to decide how I want to design it.
I think there should be a contest. I think it's important that members have their opportunity to have their say and I think that what people want to hear is what the arguments are and people putting those arguments together, gET A GRIP.
