How to use unsound in a sentence?
When you think about it, making entry -- announced or unannounced -- is very high risk, you're going through a' fatal funnel,' where the bad guy could fire rounds blindly at a doorway and have a chance of hitting us. If we don't have to go through, we don't want to. Who benefits from making an entry ? The answer is the bad guy. So we'd say, that's a tactically unsound decision.

However, at the same time, I am also aware that, in my opinion, there are other people who are regarded as sane, whose minds are as radically unsound, who may be equally or more dangerous to themselves and others and whom society does not regard as psychotic and fit persons to be in a madhouse.
Too much public discourse today is sullied by ad hominem rhetoric, that is, attempts to discredit an argument not by proving that it is unsound but by attacking the character or motives of the argument's proponents, the majority regrettably succumbs to this trend.
For a federal mandate to come about for measles or any other particular illness or disease you'd have to convince me it was necessary, but the question is, is there scientific evidence to justify a politician suggesting that vaccinations programs we have today are unsound? My answer is no.
