English Synonyms and Antonyms
character
Character is what one is; reputation, what he is thought to be; his record is the total of his known action or inaction. As a rule, a man's record will substantially express his character; his reputation may be higher or lower than his character or record will justify. Repute is a somewhat formal word, with the same general sense as reputation. One's nature includes all his original endowments or propensities; character includes both natural and acquired traits. We speak of one's physical constitution as strong or weak, etc., and figuratively, always with the adjective, of his mental or moral constitution. Compare CHARACTERISTIC.
Synonyms:
constitution, disposition, genius, nature, personality, record, reputation, spirit, temper, temperamentPreposition:
The witness has a character for veracity; his character is above suspicion; the character of the applicant.

How to use character in a sentence?
I take a character who in a million years would never think she'd be the main character in a movie... but here I make her front and center. I think that's her emotional journey, as she goes from being like an afterthought in the school to being the main character -- like, really owning it in her life, i think that's probably true for a lot of us... we might think about ourselves a lot and we're self-absorbed, but we don't always see ourselves as the main characters in our life.
Our character is what we do when we think no one is looking.
Character isn't something you were born with and can't change, like your fingerprints. It's something you weren't born with and must take responsibility for forming.
Seek isolation as much as possible from time to time for it gives fuel for own mind ignition to do the right introspection and, importantly, do the correct identification of others character and intention.
The Character which a youth acquires in the early part of his Life is of great importance towards his future prosperity-one false step may prove irretrievable to his future usefulness.
